The Circular Practice is an ongoing practical research project and experiment in ecologically and materially sustainable art-making. Exploring methods of low-impact art-making that rejects systems of capitalist extraction, perfection and commodification.

Through material foraging, recycling, repurposing and biodegradation the project works in conjunction with our more-than-human kin to leave no trace of itself. The project acts to mirror and supplement the inherently regenerative ancient processes and incorporate their queer, ephemeral and imperfect nature in art-making and exhibiting. This project manifests itself across my wider practice, predominantly in my sculptural and assemblage work, but also through my work with speculative fiction, design and print.
